PE-backed Reinsurer - Senior Investment Manager (Private Credit focused) FTC

Clarence George is working on an exciting 12-month maternity cover with a PE-backed Consolidator, looking for a Senior Investment Manager. This individual will be working with the Reinsurance balance sheet, reporting directly to the CEO and supporting end to end investment decisions. This includes maintaining the existing portfolio as well as working with key investment management stakeholders on new investment opportunities. This is an exciting opportunity to be heavily involved in private credit and structured finance, a highly desirable part of the market.

Profile:

• Open to qualification (FIA, CFA, other)
• 8+ years’ experience in an investment or insurance investment context
• Experience in ALM, strategic asset allocation and hedging would be required
• Understanding of an insurance balance sheet of private credit (CLOs, ABS or structured credit would be beneficial)
• Open to individuals from a public credit background with keen interest in private credit
• Highly commercial and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong stakeholder management skills
