Client Accountant
- Ensure the accurate maintenance of financial records across client property portfolios.
- Produce financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, providing clients with meaningful financial insights.
- Assist with year-end audits by ensuring adherence to financial regulations and reporting standards.
- Prepare, review, and reconcile service charge budgets and actual expenditures to maintain transparency and accuracy.
- Collaborate closely with property managers to oversee service charge spending and address related inquiries.
- Ensure service charge payments are collected and allocated in a timely manner.
- Manage rental income processing, monitor arrears, and support credit control activities to reduce outstanding balances.
- Accurately reflect lease terms in financial systems, including rent reviews and scheduled escalations.
- Communicate with tenants and property managers to resolve rent-related matters efficiently.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and consultants as needed.
- Ensure all financial activities align with applicable accounting standards, regulations, and client expectations.
- Maintain precise records to support VAT filings, tax submissions, and audit processes.
