A lovely family based in Islington, London, is seeking a Nanny to provide dedicated care for their 7.5-month-old baby for one day per week.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of childcare experience and will speak English, French, or Spanish. The family is looking for someone who can speak either French or Spanish to a native level and support language immersion through play, reading, and daily interaction.

The baby will be starting nursery three days per week in September, and the family requires high-quality care for one of his days at home. The nanny will be responsible for supporting the baby’s daily routine, preparing nutritious meals and snacks, and keeping the baby’s bedroom and play areas clean, organised, and tidy.

The role will also include baby-related laundry and all housekeeping duties related to the baby. There is a friendly dog in the home, but no pet care will be required. A driver is not required for this role.

A valid first aid certification is required for this role.

Working hours: 1 day per week, 8 hours per day. The exact day and timings will be confirmed once the nursery confirms the baby’s set days. Additional babysitting may also be required.

Duties include:

• caring for a 7.5-month-old baby
• providing high-quality care on one day at home
• supporting language immersion through play, reading, and interaction
• preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks
• supporting the baby’s daily routine
• engaging the baby in age-appropriate activities
• keeping the baby’s bedroom and play areas clean and organised
• doing laundry related to the baby
• carrying out all housekeeping duties related to the baby
• being comfortable around a friendly dog

The family is looking for someone who can start on 1 September 2026.
