Logistics Degree Apprenticeship

Logistics Degree Apprenticeship

As a Logistics Degree Apprentice, you’ll be part of the teams that move millions of products from our sites to our stores. Our 3-year Logistics Degree Apprenticeship, delivered in partnership with the University of Bradford, allows you to work towards a degree while building a career with one of the best logistics teams around!

Achieve a valuable degree and the start of a great career

Our logistics teams are responsible for ensuring the right products are in the right place at the right time. You’ll play an important part in our business, ensuring our stores can run smoothly and making an impact on exciting business projects as a Team Manager. After the 3-year programme, you will have the skills and experience needed to progress into a Shift Manager role within one of our logistic sites. Working in these teams, you could be responsible for:

  • Providing our customers with the freshest products
  • Driving efficiencies to ensure our stores are stocked and ready to serve
  • Picking and loading stock, ready to service stores across the UK
  • Checking in on team members and ensuring they’re aware of what they will be doing for the day

As well as learning on-the-job, you’ll also be studying towards a Bsc (Hons) Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship at the University of Bradford. Balancing work and a degree course will be challenging. To support your learning, we will offer you study leave so you can complete your assignments and concentrate on your university studies. At the end of the 3-year scheme, Apprentices could be prepared for a specialist role and have gained a full chartered membership of the CMI (Chartered Management Institute).

Make good things happen

Our apprentices get access to all our employee benefits, including MyPerks. This is a reward and benefits scheme that updates regularly with new and exciting offers. Here’s what you could enjoy:

  • 24% cashback on JustEat
  • 6% cashback on Ticketmaster
  • Cinema tickets from £4.80

What you need to join us

Recently achieved or being predicted a minimum of 112 UCAS points and having achieved GCSE Grade 4 in Maths and English are needed for this programme. We’d love to see strong adaptability in successful candidates to ensure you can be flexible to meet the changing needs of our business. Our Logistic Degree Apprentices also need a few key attributes to succeed. These include:

  • Resilience
  • Determination
  • Good leadership

We're passionate about delivering excellence and meeting your needs, so we're confident you'll find working at Morrisons rewarding. We are focused on the progression of talent early in their career which is why we offer structured schemes, on programme coaching and support from mentors and buddies from day one!

To apply, you’ll need the right to work in the UK for the full duration of the scheme.
