Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for Senior Clinical Advisor to work with an  NHS 111 Service in Barking and Croydon, London. This full-time/part-time  locum position is based in a office environment, with proposed working hours of  Days/Nights/ Flexible shifts including evening and weekends.

To be eligible, you must have:

• Registered Nurse (NMC)
• Significant post-registration experience in urgent care, primary care, or emergency settings.
• NHS Pathways-trained or MTS trained
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Passion for patient safety and continuous improvement.

About the Role

As a Senior Clinical Advisor, you’ll lead by example in providing expert clinical assessment, supporting frontline staff, and contributing to service excellence.
You will:

Deliver remote clinical assessments and advice using NHS Pathways and clinical judgment.
Provide guidance, mentoring, and escalation support to Clinical Advisors and other team members.
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure appropriate and timely patient care.
Contribute to audits, service improvement initiatives, and clinical governance.
