Finance Manager [Operations] | North London | £75,000 + extensive package incl. bonus (20%) + Car + healthcare + 25 days holiday+ pension etc
The Opportunity
This is a role for a finance professional who loves the pace, innovation and change within modern manufacturing.
You’ll be joining a world-class FMCG manufacturing group. A profitable FTSE 250 group amid a phase of ongoing growth and investment.
Your role is vital. You will create the crucial bridge between finance and ops. The link between the factory leadership team / GM and finance.
Every day is focused on added value – you should be going home talking about the changes and decisions you influenced within the production areas rather than the balance sheet!
You’ll manage a team of three – your personal remit is to be out in the large scale (£300 turnover) manufacturing units with P&L in hand. You’ll bring the numbers to life and provide commentary, insights and MI that allow decisions to be made based on real life trends, accurate forecasts and well-reasoned common sense.
There’s loads of project work alongside the BAU, major scope to progress within the succession plan, significant earning potential, high job security and genuine opportunity to make a difference.
This is a role for:
- Someone with previous experience of manufacturing (ideally FMCG / perhaps Food) – someone who loves being out in the belly of the factory understanding the levers of success and profit.
- Someone with bona fide business partnering skills – ability to build relationships, be heard, listen and tease out the real world narrative that sits behind the hard and fast numbers.
- CIMA or equivalent is a pre-requisite.
