Sous Chef
The Role
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Sous Chef to join the culinary team at a high-spec corporate venue in the City of London. Working a 40-hour Monday-to-Friday contract, this role offers an exceptional work-life balance alongside top-tier culinary standards, including a shift pattern with no evening service on Fridays to kick off your weekend early.In this position, you will work closely with the Head Chef to produce fine-dining quality dishes, execute bespoke events, and deliver intimate private dining experiences for executive clients.
The Details
- Salary: £43,000 per annum + paid overtime
- Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, no Friday evening shifts)
- Location: City of London

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Head Chef in running daily kitchen operations, maintaining fine-dining precision across all services.
- Prepare and plate sophisticated, seasonal menus for executive private dining and exclusive corporate events.
- Oversee food safety, allergen compliance, stock management, and kitchen hygiene standards.
- Help mentor and train junior chefs, maintaining a professional and supportive kitchen environment.
