Interim Management Accountant

The Interim Management Accountant will play a key role in ensuring the smooth financial operations of the organisation. This temporary role focuses on delivering accurate and timely financial reports to support decision–making within the property industry.

A company in the property sector based in London.

Description

• Prepare and review management accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting to support financial planning.
• Provide variance analysis and commentary to explain financial performance.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
• Support month–end and year–end closing processes.
• Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and reporting.
• Assist with audit preparation and liaise with external auditors as required.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.

Profile

A successful Interim Management Accountant should have:

• A recognised accounting qualification or equivalent experience in accounting and finance.
• Strong knowledge of management accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem–solving skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Experience in the property industry is an advantage but not essential.

Job Offer

• Daily rate between GBP280 and GBP320, dependent on the level of experience.
• Temporary role based in London.
