Head of Product (Maternity Leave)

Vixio
London

Head of Product- (9 Month Maternity Cover)

About Vixio:

At Vixio, we're disrupting and building the future of regulatory intelligence.

We are a pioneering RegTech SaaS company helping global organisations turn regulatory complexity into competitive advantage. Our platforms combine automation, AI-enhanced insights and deep regulatory expertise to deliver real-time regulatory intelligence and foresight.

Through powerful tools, intelligent alerts and workflow automation, Vixio enables compliance teams to move beyond manual research and spreadsheets - empowering them to anticipate change, act faster and make confident strategic decisions.

Trusted by some of the world's leading brands, across Payments, Banking and Gambling, our solutions provide actionable regulatory intelligence across more than 180 jurisdictions, helping organisations navigate risk, unlock new markets and stay ahead in rapidly evolving industries.

About the role:

The Head of Product will input into the Product vision, strategy, and lead the Product execution across Vixio's Customer facing platform areas: Gaming Compliance, Payments Compliance, Financial Services and our AI powered workflow management tools.. This role is critical in aligning the product portfolio to Vixio's unified platform ambition and ensuring scalable delivery of high-value, high-quality features that meet user needs and support commercial growth.

They will lead a growing team of Product Managers and work cross-functionally with Engineering, Regulatory Intelligence, Commercial, and Marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Strategy & Road-map

  • Own and clearly articulate product vision, strategy, and road-map across all four verticals
  • Align product planning with strategic goals, customer insights, and commercial priorities
  • Translate business objectives into prioritised, executable delivery outcomes
  • Lead product governance: road-map reviews, OKR planning, go-to-market readiness, and executive reporting

AI-Native Delivery - Core Expectation

  • Use AI tooling across the full product development life-cycle as standard working practice
  • Structure and write user stories and acceptance criteria optimised for coding agents (not just human developers) - clear preconditions, deterministic outputs, edge cases explicit
  • Drive rapid prototyping cycles using AI-assisted tools to validate feature hypotheses before engineering commitment
  • Automate feedback synthesis: use AI tooling to process customer interviews, support tickets, usage data, and NPS signals into structured insight at pace
  • Champion a faster release cadence - weekly or continuous delivery where feasible - and build product rituals that support it
  • Maintain a product environment where testing is embedded in the build cycle: AI-assisted test generation, regression coverage, and acceptance testing at speed

Customer & Market Insight

  • Champion the voice of the customer through research, interviews, and behavioural data analysis
  • Develop customer personas, journey maps, and use case documentation
  • Establish and maintain structured feedback loops with customers, prospects, and internal teams
  • Ensure product-market fit across compliance, payments, financial services, and gambling verticals

Cross-Functional Execution

  • Work closely with Engineering, Regulatory Intelligence, Commercial, and Marketing to drive aligned delivery
  • Drive a data-informed culture: usage, adoption, feedback, and revenue insights steer priorities
  • Champion One Vixio as the integrated experience layer across modules
  • Manage the migration path of customers onto the unified platform
  • Drive evolution of Workspace and unified platform navigation and UX

People

  • Manage, coach, and develop direct-report Product Managers and Product Specialists
  • Build and maintain a high-performing product team capable of operating at pace

Knowledge & Experience

Required

  • Proven B2B SaaS product leadership - multiple products or modules within a unified platform
  • Experience in regulated markets: RegTech, FinTech, LegalTech, or Compliance strongly preferred
  • Deep platform thinking: UX, systems integration, unified data models
  • Strong stakeholder management up to exec level

Desirable

  • Familiarity with RAG architectures, LLM-powered product features, or agentic workflow tooling
  • Experience with regulatory change management, obligation tracking, or GRC platforms
  • Exposure to PE-backed or exit-stage SaaS environments
  • Demonstrable experience using AI tools in the product development lifecycle - not theoretical; show the work
  • Experience writing stories, epics, or specifications structured for AI coding agents (JIRA GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or equivalent)
  • Experience building or managing products in a high-cadence, continuous delivery environment
  • Proven ability to synthesise large volumes of qualitative and quantitative customer feedback rapidly - ideally using AI-assisted tooling

Leadership Behaviours:

  • Goal orientated - Sets goals and objectives for yourself and your team that align with Vixio's vision.
  • Accountability through to completion - Recognising that no one is perfect, you acknowledge shortcomings, and take accountability.
  • Communication - Communicates clearly, concisely, and transparently-honest and straightforward while remaining respectful.
  • Empathy - Demonstrates empathy by understanding and connecting with others' feelings. Approachable and compassionate while maintaining a balance between support and the needs of Vixio.
  • Continuous feedback - Provides fair, balanced, and timely feedback that supports growth, recognises effort, and enhances performance. Humble and open to receiving feedback personally.
  • Active listening - Gives full attention to the speaker, actively observing body language and tone. Ensures they feel heard, valued, and genuinely understood.

What We Offer:

  • A pivotal role in shaping the execution of strategic priorities at an ambitious, fast-growing company.
  • Collaborative culture and opportunity to work closely with senior leadership.
