Assistant Manager (Landscape Design) - (Re-Advertisement)
An opportunity has arisen within Neighbourhoods, Regeneration and Sustainability for an Assistant Manager to join our Landscape Design team on a permanent basis.
NRS brings together a diverse range of Glasgow City Council operational, technical and development services that focus on sustainable transport, place making and delivering essential city services.

Position Details
The Assistant Manager will assist in management of our award-winning local authority practice; leading the development, design and project-management of a range of projects which will contribute to shaping the future of Glasgow’s Parks and open spaces.
To be successful you should have excellent communication and leadership skills, which are essential to lead discussions with communities and external partner organisations.
A degree, or equivalent level qualification, in a subject related to Landscape Design, Greenspace, the Environment or Sustainability and/or demonstrable previous relevant project management/team management experience, project planning and people management skills is an essential requirement for this role. As is a current driving licence.
Previous relevant experience of contracts, partnership working, grant funding applications and sourcing funding and managing applications is essential. As are good organisational/ IT/ presentation skills and the ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders.

Contract Details
Weekly Hours: 35 per week
Work Pattern: Monday - Friday
Annual Salary: £42,266.24 - £49,186.79 on an incremental scale
