ABOUT THE ROLE
At Charlie Oscar, our Client Strategy team plays the lead role in owning the client relationship and driving growth for some of the UK’s most ambitious consumer brands. You’ll partner with marketing leaders, media leads, creative specialists and marketing science teams to design and deliver full-funnel strategies that drive real business results. Whether it’s shaping annual growth plans, spotting the next test-and-learn opportunity, or translating complex performance into simple actions, your work will ensure clients feel confident, challenged, and excited about what’s next.Beyond delivering for clients, you’ll help evolve how we work, how we lead, and how we grow, inside Charlie Oscar and out in the industry. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and mentor a team, overseeing day to day work and guiding their professional growth
Oversee multiple high profile accounts across various categories ensuring the strongest performance and maintaining meaningful partnerships.
Develop and deliver data driven business and marketing strategies to achieve client objectives
Take responsibility for client portfolio profitability, meeting targets, identifying growth opportunities and planning resources for optimum performance and impact.
Strategically guide client partnerships integrating our services and capabilities aligned with broader business goals.
Proactively identify opportunities for improvement across all areas of team output - relationship, operations, team design and growth strategy.
Build strong relationships with all clients driving effective communication across the teams
Ensure performance against client goals providing clear and actionable updates to key client stakeholders
Build and strengthen relationships with key partners ensuring that Charlie Oscar are considered for new opportunities, BETA’s and tests.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
10+ years of proven experience in Client Leadership, Strategy or Digital Performance roles within a media or social/influencer agency environment.
Lead vision setting for your client portfolio aligning marketing science, media, creator and creative to deliver brilliant performance outcomes.
Bring deep expertise in integrated planning, marketing measurement and growth strategy connecting business goals with marketing plans.
Expertise in digital advertising channels and platforms such a Google, Meta, TikTok and a strong point of view about the future of digital media.
You can collaborate with multiple stakeholders across disciplines shaping strategy that guides long term client partnerships
Ability to translate data and performance metrics into strategy enabling clients to lead in competitive landscapes
Mentor client strategy teams ensuring a high performance, client first culture rooted in accountability and creativity.
You can navigate complexity and bring clarity to communications both internally and externally
You will be intellectually curious and seek to continuously learn to benefit your clients businesses and ours
