Salary: £22.00 per hour to £32.00 per hour
Description:
We are currently seeking experienced Registered General Nurses (RGNs) to work across General Acute Wards at Royal Surrey, Guildford. This locum opportunity offers a variety of long day and night shifts, providing flexibility to suit your availability.
Typical shift patterns include:
Long days: 07:30–19:30
Night shifts: 19:15–07:45
This role is ideal for nurses who are confident delivering high-quality care in a busy acute hospital environment, managing patients with a range of medical and surgical conditions.
Duties include:
Delivering safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to acute ward patients
Comprehensive patient assessment, monitoring, and documentation
Safe administration of medications and treatments
Escalating clinical concerns appropriately
Working collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to support patient care and flow
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible, you must have:
Current NMC registration
Recent NHS acute ward experience
Competency using the CERNER system
Valid NHS Smartcard
