Contracts Manager
We're looking for a Contracts Manager for a public sector organisation, based in Birmingham or London (hybrid), on an initial 9 month contract, paying up to £500 per day (Inside IR35).
This is a hybrid role with an expectation to attend the office three days a week. The successful Contracts Manager will lead the commercial and contract administration of NEC forms of contract across a major public sector programme. You'll provide governance, assurance and commercial leadership to directors, contract managers and project teams, coach direct reports, and drive the resolution of contract issues and change requests. You'll also assess compensation events and work to secure value for money across the contract lifecycle. You will need proven experience working with the following: NEC contract administrationContract governance and assurance
Negotiation and contract risk management
Leading stakeholders through contract change processes
Assessment of compensation events
Coaching and supervising contract management teams You'll also need practical exposure to corporate contract management, including areas such as: Analytical and commercial decision-making
Cost control and risk allocation
Managing different forms of Professional Services contract Experience of publicly funded projects, knowledge of UCR/PCR regulations and dispute resolution expertise would be beneficial. Interested?
