Requirements

About the role

With a direct reporting line to the Fleet Operations Manager, this role will take on the responsibility of organising and overseeing vehicle movements and preparation, maintenance issues, driver standards, recruitment and training at our location in Shepherds Bush. Flexibility to work weekends is a must.

We are seeking applications from candidates with proven experience in fleet and/or Supervisor roles and are happy to be working in a hands-on environment.

A fleet Supervisor is essentially the person behind the entire Fleet team. You’ll be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities

● Helping streamline the delivery and collection process

● Manage the fleet team made up of fleet assistants

● Manage the 150+ cars fleet

● Managing and owning process to the day runs smoothly

● Leading the fleet coordinators and making sure all daily tasks are completed

● Anticipate future problems and find suitable resolution

● Ensure the safety & security of the fleet is maintained

● Supporting other departments to ensure Fleet team are operations smoothly and efficiently

● Providing excellent Customer Service

● Maintaining record logs to ensure smooth running of vehicles

● Identifying and reporting any fleet maintenance issues

● Manage vehicle maintenance and servicing schedules to minimise downtime

● Manage vehicle infleeting and defleeting

● Bring in new ideas and anticipate future threats and opportunities

● General administration duties

Skills & Experience

● Highly personable

● Great organisational skills & attention to detail

● Manage the fleet team made up of fleet assistants

● Using initiative and problem solving daily

● Building and maintain relationships with drivers and wider teams

● Excellent time management and communication skills

● Maintaining professional standards

● Ability to work independently

● Flexible to work on weekends (essential)

Technical requirements & experience

● Ownership of a full clean GB or EU driving licence held for a minimum of 2 years

● Is at least 25 years old to meet our insurance requirements

● Experience of leading a team

● Is passionate and knowledgeable about the cars

● Be able to commute to Shepherds Bush

● Successful applicants will be required to consent to an enhanced disclosure and barring service check (DBS)
