Qualification As an Associate Manager, you will: The Security Service Delivery Associate Manager is directly responsible for the delivery of multiple security service to our customers including Security Operations Centre Services delivered from offshore, onshore and nearshore locations. The best candidates have a proven track record of delivering high quality and efficient security service as a technical individual contributor and possess a clear passion for the security industry. Applicants should have 5+ years’ experience in cyber security or related disciplines, 2+ years’ in a supervisory or lead role, and be looking for their next career move into managing multiple security service delivery contracts. The Security Service Delivery Associate Manager is responsible for the contract delivery as directed by the Senior Contract Manager, achieving great service delivery, compliance and operational efficiency through best practice, innovation, strong people management and positive client engagement. The Security Service Delivery Associate Manager will develop and lead the teams to exceed expectations at an operational level, by ensuring a high and consistent service is delivered by providing innovative added value solutions and maintaining strong relationships at all levels. The position holder will enjoy leading from the front and drive performance through multiple teams in addition to being hands on with the ability to inspire others.- Ultimate responsibility for ensuring that all customers receive an exceptional level of security service and demonstration of customer security value from Accenture.
- Responsible for management of a team of Security Analysts of varying levels within a 24/7/365 SOC, as part of the wider SOC & Security Services.
- Operating as the highest level of escalation and resolution for customer security service issues, both technical and non-technical
- Process ownership in the area of security service delivery - Definition, implementation, execution, review and continual improvement
- Partnering, building relationships, and collaborating with internal teams across the business to deliver on the objectives of the SOC & Security Services department
- Be a figure of technical seniority in the work and provide mentoring, training and guidance on skills development to reports and less experienced team members
- Willingness to learn new skills and proactively drive self-education
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Work well with a team across multiple locations and time zones
- Ability to work under pressure to aggressive deadlines and demonstrate flexibility
- Experience in a customer facing role, including supervision and leadership
- Experience mentoring, supervising, or leading security analysts or IT professionals
- Understanding & familiarity with networking concepts & protocols
- Understanding & familiarity of Operating System fundamentals
- Understanding & experience with fundamental cyber security concepts, such as types of cyber-attacks and why attackers perform them
- Working with SIEM and other security detection & prevention technologies (e.g. firewalls, IDS, PM, VM) as part of implementing and operating a security program
- A background in technical IT roles such as IT architecture, development or operations, with a clear and abiding interest in information security.
- The applicant must demonstrate competence in one of the following sub-domains (Data security, SecOps/DevSecOps, API security, Enterprise application security and Secure application security).
- Security Certifications and understanding of current industry best practices are highly desirable.
- Offers advice and practical assistance on information security challenges throughout the organisation.
- Manages project delivery and provides thought leadership to our clients.
- Experience in mentoring and developing skills in team members
- As there is potential to work with UK Government clients, the individual must be a UK National with ability to get the required security clearance
