The AHP team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team and support the social, emotional, behavioral, and educational development of children aged 5-14 years.

Your main responsibilities as a Speech and Language Therapist:

Plan, resource, and prepare effective and engaging therapy programmers for children. Lead and deliver whole-staff therapeutic training. Adopt a capacity-building approach to equip staff with the skills to effectively facilitate the development of pupils’ communication skills. Assist in determining the communicative function of behaviors and develop goals to reduce challenging behavior by providing pupils with more effective means of communication. Establish functional goals that promote meaningful participation and increased independence. Develop, facilitate, and monitor the implementation of whole-class intervention programs. Complete termly therapy reports on children’s progress in individual and group therapy sessions.

What we are looking for in a Speech and Language Therapist:

• Recognised Speech and Language Therapy qualification
• HCPC registration
• Experience working with children or adults with communication needs
• Knowledge of clinical governance principles and audit processes.
• Valid driver’s license.
