Management Accountant - 12 month FTC

Job Overview/Summary

We are looking for an experienced Management Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven  environment. This role is key to providing financial insight that supports strategic decision-making. You'll  manage monthly reporting, budgeting, and cost analysis while supporting the implementation of our new  ERP system and ensuring it is effectively integrated into our financial workflows.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
• Perform cost accounting and margin analysis, with a strong focus on production and supply chain costs
• Partner with department heads to provide insights and recommendations based on financial performance
• Support the implementation of financial data workflows within the ERP system
• Identify opportunities for process automation, efficiency, and system enhancements
• Reconcile key balance sheet accounts and ensure the integrity of financial data
• Assist with year-end processes, external audits, and compliance
• Develop dashboards and reports for operational and strategic decision-making
• Act as a point of contact for supplier queries
• Delivering robust analysis of actuals to ensure accurate accounting, understanding and analysis with recommendations for senior management
• Balance sheet reconciliation & compliance
• Linking together operational and financial information in weekly reports to management
• Manage outsourced payroll process and admin
• Act as a point of contact for queries, supporting business units with financial insights.
• Ad hoc duties for Finance department 

About You

• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)
• 3+ years of experience in a management accounting role, ideally in FMCG, food production, or manufacturing
• Strong understanding of ERP systems and experience improving financial reporting and processes through them
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
• Excellent communication and business partnering skills
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
• Passion for working in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment
