PMLD Teaching Assistant - Behaviour Support Specialist - Greenwich £97-£112 per day | Full-time | Immediate Start

Remedy Education is proud to be working with a specialist school in Greenwich, currently seeking a committed and compassionate PMLD Teaching Assistant to support students with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD), many of whom have additional physical, sensory, or behavioural needs.

As a PMLD Teaching Assistant in Greenwich, you will play a key role in supporting children and young people aged 11-19, helping them access learning in a safe and inclusive environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about SEN and behaviour support.

The Role:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for students aged 11-19 with PMLD and severe learning difficulties.
• Implement behaviour support plans and collaborate with the wider team.
• Help students with daily routines, life skills, and sensory activities.
• Foster independence and social interaction in the classroom.
• Manage challenging behaviour using calm, proactive strategies.
• Work closely with teachers, therapists, and external professionals.
• Monitor and report progress to contribute to personalised support plans.
• In your role as a PMLD Teaching Assistant in Greenwich, you will be making a daily difference in the lives of students with complex needs, ensuring they feel supported and valued.
