Assistant Company Secretary
I’m working with a leading global financial services firm looking to appoint a highly organised Assistant Company Secretary to join its EMEA Corporate Legal team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong legal and governance experience to join a dynamic and fast-paced environment supporting cross-border operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Company Secretarial team with the preparation of Board and Committee meetings
- Provide company secretarial services to regulated EMEA entities and branches
- Draft and maintain governance documents and assist with legal/regulatory filings
- Liaise with external counsel, auditors, and regulators as needed
- Conduct legal research and support on regulatory and privacy matters
- Monitor legislative changes and assess their business impact
Key Skills & Experience:
- Law degree and completed LPC or SQE
- Minimum 2 years’ company secretarial/legal experience in financial services
- Exceptional attention to detail and multitasking abilities
- Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
- Experience working in an international or investment banking environment is a plus
