BMS Project Sales Engineer - Smart Buildings

About the role As a BMS Project Sales Engineer , based in the London (with flexibility and hybrid options), you’ll be a key player in bringing cutting-edge BMS technologies to life—reducing energy consumption, driving carbon reduction, and delivering intelligent solutions to clients across commercial real estate, facilities management, and property sectors. Key Responsibilities * Promote and sell cutting-edge Building Management System (BMS) solutions to a wide range of clients across commercial property, real estate, and facilities management sectors. * Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through trust, expertise, and consultative sales approaches. * Identify and develop new business opportunities across the North West region to support ongoing growth targets. * Conduct client meetings, site visits, and solution presentations to deliver tailored, value-driven offerings. * Collaborate with internal teams—engineers, designers, and project managers—to ensure successful project handovers and continued client satisfaction. * Keep abreast of evolving BMS technologies and market trends to ensure solutions remain innovative and competitive. * Maintain accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management using CRM systems. * Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client briefings to strengthen brand awareness and network growth. Required Skills & Experience * Proven experience in BMS or Building Controls sales, or similar technical/solution sales within the built environment. * Solid understanding of Building Control Systems and energy efficiency solutions. * Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify client needs and match them with technical solutions. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a consultative and collaborative sales approach. * Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload across a large territory. * Results-driven mindset with a passion for sustainable innovation and future-focused technologies. * A proactive attitude toward learning and professional development. * Full UK driving licence is essential, due to regional travel to client sites.
