About the role
We are looking for a superstar Finance Manager to join our team to support Global Marketing. This role sits in the finance team reporting to the Finance Director. Global Marketing encompasses Brand Marketing, Creative Agency, PR, Product, VM and Store Design, and is the engine behind the phenomenal success of Charlotte Tilbury.

In this role you will take full ownership of this cost centre and will work cross functionally with multiple stakeholders across the business to deliver forecasts and actuals. You will support on strategic global initiatives and take a key responsibility in evaluating the financial impact of initiatives delivered by these functions.

As a Finance Manager – Global Marketing you will

• Manage all components of month end related to Global Marketing, including balance sheet reconciliations and key account reviews
• Own Global Marketing cost trackers, holding monthly meetings with all budget holders to understand any risks and opportunities
• Understand drivers of variance to budget/forecast and provide monthly analysis and insight to Stakeholders on all marketing spend
• Seek to continuously improve the month end process, refining controls, processes, and reporting
• Prepare the Global Marketing budgets and forecasts, and assist commercial leaders in building long-term strategic plans
• Support stakeholders with the preparation of any business cases related to Marketing investment, challenging the business where necessary
• Prepare Return on Investment (ROI) analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of approved initiatives and make recommendations for future strategies
• Support the Marketing Team in the production of presentation materials for internal stakeholders on departmental performance vs targets, and other key metrics
• Manage and develop Finance Assistant
• Deliver ad hoc analysis as needed

About you

• Month-end process management experience essential
• Commercial and analytical mindset
• Advanced excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, Sum If, Indirect etc.) and the ability to build models from scratch
• Flexible & proactive, able to drive improvements through to completion
• Positive ‘can-do’ attitude
• Ability to work under pressure and be deadline driven
• Ideally ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with 1-2 years post qualification experience
• Experience with ANAPLAN, Looker, NetSuite beneficial
• Retail/FMCG with eCommerce experience is highly desirable
