What we are looking for:
We are looking for a passionate, driven and knowledgeable B2B media expert to join our growing EMEA media planning team. As part of this team, you'll be responsible for building Media plans and strategy decks for clients. You’ll select publishers and partners, ensuring their capabilities are well presented and fit for the brief, whilst also negotiating the best possible rates. You'll be responsible for campaign insights and buying optimization during campaigns. You'll take an interest in the evolving media landscape and sharing industry trends which may impact buying. If you have a keen eye for strategic planning, and love shaping media strategies using multiple channels to drive growth for clients, we would love to hear from you.
What you will do:
Stakeholder management:
- Dissecting and interpreting client media briefs, with little to no oversight
- Accurately identifying campaign goals, establishing KPIs, and providing sound recommendations that pro-actively solve client pain points
- Producing recommendations and confidently presenting to clients
- Effectively answering client questions to explain ideas and the strategy behind plans
- Provide responses and comms within agreed timeframes
Strategy & planning:
- Responsible for the strategic planning of media campaigns which exceed client expectations
- Liaising with internal and external teams to produce media plans, ensuring we represent the best media solutions for our clients
- Showcase a strong understanding of regional media buying experience with a focus on core European markets alongside wider EMEA Media buying
- Gathering consumer and competitor media insights and assessing how these may impact plans, sharing with the team and making recommendations for improvements
- Briefing and hand-over of finalised plan to delivery team

Supplier/publisher engagement:
- Sourcing supplier recommendations and quotes
- Confidently negotiating with publishers to ensure our clients get the best rates possible
- Keeping up to date with supplier offerings
- Presenting supplier offerings and creds appropriately to the client brief and need
- Have a commercial understanding costs and profitability when working with suppliers
- Leveraging publisher relationships to achieve best possible rates for our clients
Commercials / financial management
- Understand how to deliver profitable plans, whilst ensuring client KPIs are achieved or outperformed
Reporting:
- Responsible for ensuring publisher analysis and insight is baked into reporting, appropriate to the plan
Insight:
- Bring curiosity and a hunger for innovation to help keep TMP at the cutting edge within the B2B industry
- Keeping up to date with latest publisher trends, sharing pro-active ideas with clients.
- Researching industry trends and changes to keep our clients plans at the forefront of change
Mentorship:
- Delegate tasks to more junior members of the team where appropriate
- Provide feedback, coaching and mentorship in the delivery of the work
Requirements

What you will need:
- Previous B2B Media buying experience of both online and offline Media
- Agency or client-side Media buying a must with knowledge of key channels
- Understanding of the B2B space, with an emphasis on Technology & Software
- Exposure to B2B Manufacturing, Healthcare and Fin Tech a bonus
- Demonstrable experience planning and buying media across a range of channels – lead generation, programmatic, search and social
- Experience planning and executing ABM strategies within Media
- Proficient with IT including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Experience of planning tools and processes
- Experience of scoping, estimating and negotiation
- Excellent written and verbal communication
