Senior Marketing Manager - International
- Act as the primary marketing partner to the International Banking business, translating business goals into high impact marketing strategies.
- Lead the development and execution of an integrated global marketing plan with localised focus on key regions including EMEA.
- Collaborate with central digital, content, and events teams to deliver high-impact activity that enhances brand visibility, deepens engagement, and drives growth.
- Ensure global brand consistency while supporting local market needs.
- Build strong internal relationships with stakeholders across business.
- Ensure compliance with international cross-border regulations.
- Extensive experience in international marketing roles and a strong understanding of regional nuances.
- Proven ability to deliver multi-channel, full-funnel campaigns to achieve acquisition and retention targets.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to use insights to set budgets, monitor performance and demonstrate impact.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Strong planning, strategy, and execution skills, with comfort working in a complex, matrixed environment.
- Experience working in or with regulated industries (ideally financial services).
- Experience with international banking or wealth management audiences.
- Familiarity with marketing to high-net-worth individuals.
- Prior exposure to compliance-led marketing (e.g., knowledge of cross-border regulations).
- Proficiency with marketing tools (e.g., Salesforce, Adobe, Tableau) for reporting or campaign management.
- Development and implementation of marketing strategies and delivery that aligns with the banks business objectives and are informed by market research, customer needs and competitive landscape.
- Collaboration with product development, sales, and other departments to align marketing efforts with overall business objectives, to achieve specific, well defined outcomes, as needed.
- Development of compelling and targeted content for various marketing channels, including print, media and related collateral, if needed.
- Analysis of data to make informed decisions and optimize marketing strategies, use of data analytics tools to measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns.
- Management of the marketing budget, allocating resources to maximise ROI.
- Defines marketing vision, sets goals, clarifies objectives and works across organisations to achieve specific, well defined outcomes.
- To contribute or set strategy, drive requirements and make recommendations for change. Plan resources, budgets, and policies; manage and maintain policies/ processes; deliver continuous improvements and escalate breaches of policies/procedures.
- If managing a team, they define jobs and responsibilities, planning for the department’s future needs and operations, counselling employees on performance and contributing to employee pay decisions/changes. They may also lead a number of specialists to influence the operations of a department, in alignment with strategic as well as tactical priorities, while balancing short and long term goals and ensuring that budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements.

- Create solutions based on sophisticated analytical thought comparing and selecting complex alternatives. In-depth analysis with interpretative thinking will be required to define problems and develop innovative solutions.
- Adopt and include the outcomes of extensive research in problem solving processes.
- Seek out, build and maintain trusting relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders in order to accomplish key business objectives, using influencing and negotiating skills to achieve outcomes.
