Sales Development Manager

Utopian Professional Recruitment are delighted to work with our established client in the SaaS and consultancy sector client who are expaning their team with a new sales manager role. Based in the City of London, with views over the Shard this is a hybrid role, based between the fantastic central office and home. The role would suit a successful B2B sales professional with a consultative approach and experience in 360 sales. Experience in procurement is desirable, but not essential.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Lead on sales outreach through cold calling and email outreach.
• Communicate effectively at C-suite level.
• Undergo market research to identify high-value accounts.
• Create copy that converts for marketing campaigns
• Show an understanding of client challenges to qualify leads
• Deliver sales pitches that convert and lead on product demonstrations
• Achieve and exceed sales targets
• Ensure CRM is updated and used effectively to track sales activities and update pipelines
• Communicate effectively with senior management on client needs, progress toward targets, and competitor analysis.

To be considered for this opportunity, our client requires the following background /experience:

• 3 years minimum experience in B2B sales
• Proven record of exceeding sales targets
• Experience in using CRM, and experience in Pipedrive is advantageous
• A consultative approach to sales
• Adaptable and coachable
