QA Microbiologist

An excellent opportunity has arisen t for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Microbiologist to help us maintain the highest standards of product quality and safety. This is a hands-on role where your expertise will directly impact the consistency and excellence of our products. What you'll be doing + Delivering on-site Quality KPIs and ensuring compliance with standards. + Conducting chemical, microbiological, sensory, and packaging analysis. + Monitoring production processes to prevent contamination. + Managing sample collection, processing, and validation testing. + Recording and analyzing data with precision. + Drafting and reviewing SOPs, lab investigations, and validation protocols. + Troubleshooting microbiological issues and supporting technical queries. + Calibrating and verifying lab instruments. + Designing and delivering quality training sessions. + Creating and sharing performance reports. + Supporting BRC, FEMAS, AOECS and other relevant customers and 3rd parties standards + Performing hygiene audits relevant for the role and implementing corrective actions + Administering IT systems linked to the Quality Management System. + Driving continuous improvement and best practices.

+ HNC or equivalent degree in a science-related field (e.g. Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Science) + Understanding/experience in a brewery or food manufacturing laboratory + Experience of scientific analysis and interpretation of results + Understanding of HACCP and quality systems. + Clear communication and strong planning abilities. + Ability to work independently and collaboratively. + Experience of liaising with internal/external customers across a multifunction site + IT Literate
