Job Title : MSK Physiotherapist- Barts NHS Trust Banding : 6 Location : London Start: ASAP Duration : 3 months Rate : £24-£27 Working hour s: Monday – Friday
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Band 6 MSK Physiotherapist to join our team at Barts NHS Trust in London. This role offers an excellent opportunity to provide specialized musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapy services to outpatients. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with a variety of MSK conditions, helping them to achieve their rehabilitation goals and improve their quality of life. This position requires strong clinical skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
What will your responsibilities be :
As a Band 6 MSK Physiotherapist, the role involves conducting thorough assessments of patients with musculoskeletal conditions, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and monitoring patient progress. Providing hands-on therapy, exercise prescription, and education to support patient recovery is essential. Duties include maintaining accurate patient records, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and contributing to the continuous improvement of physiotherapy services. Efficient caseload management and providing support to junior staff as needed are also expected.
Qualifications and Experiences:
- Degree in Physiotherapy
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in MSK physiotherapy
- Experience in an outpatient setting
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Commitment to continuous professional development
