Teaching Assistant

Full-time | Long-term We are currently recruiting for an experienced and committed SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a specialist education setting in East London, supporting children and young people with a range of additional needs. The school is part of a specialist education trust focused on providing high-quality, inclusive education for pupils with SEND. The setting places a strong emphasis on personalised learning, communication, independence, wellbeing and preparing students for their next steps. The successful LSA will work closely with teachers and other professionals to provide individualised support, helping students access learning and develop their confidence and independence. The ideal candidate will have: * Previous experience working with SEN/SEND students * Experience supporting pupils with additional learning, communication or behavioural needs * A patient, caring and consistent approach * The ability to build positive and trusting relationships with students * Good communication and teamwork skills * A genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs * A valid DBS or willingness to obtain one Experience working within a specialist school, SEN provision, care setting or similar environment would be highly beneficial. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SEN LSA, Teaching Assistant or Support Worker looking for a rewarding, long-term position where they can make a genuine difference to students' lives
