Nursery Nurse

Nursery Nurse Location: Greenwich, London Salary: £93 - £110 per day, depending on qualifications and experience. Contract: Temporary; full-time availability preferred, working pattern to be agreed Start date: 05/10/2026 Hours: Term time - 8:30 - 3:30 - school day Turn everyday moments into opportunities for children to explore, talk and learn. Transparency Education is recruiting two Nursery Nurses for Early Years opportunities in Greenwich. You will support play, care routines and early development, creating the conditions for children to feel secure and become more independent. This role will suit a qualified practitioner who enjoys being actively involved in children’s learning. Responsibilities

• Plan and support age-appropriate play and learning activities
• Promote early language through conversation, stories, songs and play
• Observe children’s development and share relevant observations
• Support personal care, meals and rest routines sensitively
• Maintain safe, hygienic learning and play spaces
• Work with colleagues and families to provide consistent care

Requirements

• A recognised Level 3 Early Years or childcare qualification
• Practical experience in a nursery or Early Years setting
• A sound understanding of child development and the EYFS
• Warm communication, reliability and a child-centred approach; paediatric first aid is beneficial
• An enhanced DBS check, or willingness to complete one.
