Responsibilities

• Act as an operational lead for Chiswick-based productions, representing Production Operations in meetings and acting as key liaison with Production Management.
• Ensure production information, event requirements, and operational updates are clearly shared across relevant departments.
• Collaborate with Production Resource, MCR, London Bookings, Engineering, and other teams to ensure event details are accurate and aligned to schedules.
• Support planning and delivery of gallery positions, studio rigs, production setups, and related requirements.
• Review resource allocation documents to ensure production needs covered and booked correctly.
• Confirm bookings to verify correct resources allocated, technical operators booked, and any testing requirements captured.
• Maintain presence to support escalation, feedback, and issue resolution during production activity.
• Coordinate studio maintenance scheduling to ensure work aligns with production needs and communicated to stakeholders.
• Ensure studio maintenance, production activity, and operational deliverables meet safety requirements.
• Coordinate allocation, bookings, and upkeep of green rooms, make-up rooms, and associated production spaces.
• Support maintenance of service facilities, ensuring shared areas updated with policies and guidance.
• Identify and flag operational or facility risks early to protect live output.
• Assist with production confirmations, tracking call-time changes and overtime requirements.
• Maintain budget and cost tracking documentation accurately, recording changes and approvals.
• Coordinate freelance bookings, availability confirmations, and operational updates for teams.
• Support Production Operations Manager in documenting workflows, system integrations, and facility updates.
• Assist rollout operational process changes, ensuring teams understand systems, expectations, and responsibilities.
• Provide structured goals and development plans for Production Operations Coordinator to support growth within the organization.

Requirements

• Experience working in live broadcast, studio production, or production operations environments.
• Strong understanding of PCR, studio, and live production workflows.
• Experience supporting live sport or fast-paced productions desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and confidence to escalate issues appropriately.
• Working knowledge of scheduling systems and resource allocation workflows.
• Understanding of Risk Assessments, Health & Safety requirements, and safe production practices.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and build effective relationships.
• Proactive and solutions-focused approach to live production support.
