Known for delivering technically complex and large-scale projects across London, they’re now seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join their team and take the lead on a newly awarded £14 million commercial M&E project. This role is ideal for a mechanically-biased project manager with strong pipework expertise, particularly in shell & core and plantroom infrastructure. You’ll be managing high-spec installations from pre-construction through to final handover, working alongside a reputable internal delivery team and a top-tier client. About the Project * Sector: Commercial * Package Value: £14 million (M&E) * Scope: Shell & core infrastructure, heavy-duty plantroom installations, and large-scale mechanical pipework systems * Location: Central London What You’ll Be Doing * Leading the full mechanical package on-site from inception to completion * Coordinating pipework installations, risers, chilled water, LTHW, and plantroom fit-outs * Managing subcontractors, direct labour, and supply chain * Working closely with main contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders * Overseeing H&S compliance, quality control, programme tracking, and commercial reporting * Supporting commissioning, handover, and client satisfaction What We're Looking For * Proven track record as a Mechanical Project Manager within the M&E/building services industry * Must have a strong background in pipework systems and plantroom delivery * Experience on major commercial shell & core developments (£10m+ mechanical value) * Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills * Ability to manage high-pressure environments and drive programme delivery * Based within commutable distance to Middlesex and Central London What’s On Offer * Salary between £60,000 – £85,000 depending on experience * Attractive package including travel allowance, pension, and phone * Long-term career prospects with a stable and well-financed business * Opportunity to work on high-profile London developments * Supportive senior management team and clear route to progression Interested?
