Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Maths department, ensuring the delivery of an outstanding and challenging Maths curriculum
• Provide instructional leadership and support to Maths teachers, fostering a culture of academic excellence
• Monitor and track student progress in Maths, implementing effective interventions as necessary
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative approaches to Maths teaching
• Mentor and coach Maths teachers, promoting their professional growth and development
• Contribute to the school's Maths program and extracurricular activities
• Maintain accurate records of student assessments, attendance, and behavior

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, Specialization in Mathematics or a related field, Postgraduate degree in Mathematics or Mathematics Education (preferred), Extensive experience in teaching Mathematics, preferably in a leadership role, In-depth knowledge of the Mathematics curriculum, Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team, Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, Commitment to continuous professional development and keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in Mathematics education
