We are delighted to announce a unique opportunity to join a growing team with exciting plans to expand the services we provide. This is a new post for an Audiology Assistant.
This post is for a year in the first instance. This may be extended.

Main duties of the job
You will:
- Support the Audiology service and its users
- Provide hearing aid users with consumables, repair hearing aids and advise patients on using their aids
- Perform administrative tasks
- Oversee stock levels
- Participate in service development

Experience
Essential criteria
- Experience in a clinical, client-centred, or public-facing role, including experience working with the public
Desirable criteria
- Work within the NHS
- Experience with hearing impaired individuals
Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Five or more GCSEs, including English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent qualifications)
- T proficiency, with basic computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office
Desirable criteria
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent or Science-related A-Levels
- Additional qualifications from recognized audiology assistant training courses
General
Essential criteria
- Demonstrated interest in audiology and direct patient care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good literacy and numeracy
- Able to communicate effectively
