Midweight concept designer
Your chance to join our ITG creative team, this time dedicated to one of the UK’s leading premium food retailers.
This is a dynamic, hybrid role where you’ll collaborate across home working, ITG offices and client sites, helping deliver standout creative that’s as strategically sharp as it is beautifully crafted.
The role
We’re looking for a conceptually driven designer who can bring ideas to life across multiple channels while staying true to brand guidelines. You’ll have a strong grasp of emerging design trends, generative AI and brand storytelling — and a passion for crafting beautifully executed creative.
Retail experience is essential. You’ll understand how digital and in-store experiences connect to create a seamless customer journey, and you’ll be confident presenting your thinking — clearly articulating the “why” behind your ideas and contributing to constructive creative debate.
This role is highly collaborative. You’ll work closely with fellow creatives, operations teams and client-side design leads, so a proactive mindset and a positive, team-focused approach will set you up for success.
What you’ll be doing
- Design & craft
You’ll create compelling concepts and designs across print, digital, social and in-store environments — always with an eye for detail and a love of craft. - Collaboration
You’ll partner with ITG colleagues and client teams to deliver cohesive creative that supports the brand’s marketing strategy and commercial goals. - Brand consistency
You’ll ensure all creative output aligns with brand guidelines and maintains a consistent visual identity — from first concept to final delivery. - Time management
You’ll plan and manage your workload to meet deadlines and budget expectations, communicating early if workloads shift or challenges arise. - Process & efficiency
You’ll work confidently within established workflows — estimating time accurately, meeting deadlines and completing timesheets as required. - Trend awareness
You’ll stay curious and informed about new trends, tools and technologies (including generative AI), bringing fresh thinking and innovation into the team.
Requirements
Essential:
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud — especially InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Proven retail design experience and understanding of connected digital + in-store journeys.
- Confident communication skills, both written and verbal, including presenting ideas clearly.
- Strong time management and the ability to flag risks early when deadlines or workloads shift.
- A sense of ownership over your creative output — seeking feedback at the right moments to elevate the work.
A strong advantage:
- Experience working in a fast-paced creative or agency environment delivering cross-channel work.
- A genuine interest in how AI can enhance creative output and execution.
