About the Job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Waiter/ress to join Jumeirah Carlton Tower.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:
- Greet guests warmly, escort them to their tables, and provide information about seating arrangements.
- Explain menu items, including preparation methods and ingredients. Address any inquiries about allergies or dietary restrictions.
- Inform guests about daily specials and promotions not listed on the menu, ensuring they are aware of all available options.
- Verify guests' identification to ensure compliance with legal age requirements for alcohol service, adhering to local laws.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, noting any special requests, and communicate these promptly to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve food using appropriate techniques, ensuring adherence to established serving standards and handling practices.
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Basic Food and Hygiene Training
- Exposure of handling Micros Cashiering system
- Basic Computer Knowledge
- Proficient in English (Read/Write/Speak)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
