Job Description

What’s it all about?

Visa is seeking an experienced senior designer to work within its newly created Showcase Design team that focuses in bringing to life payment experiences for executive events, keynote mainstage presentations and global deals. The right candidate has world-class design skills across digital mediums and is a conceptual thinker beyond obvious solutions. This person should be willing to smartly challenge the status quo to reach an end goal of a fresh, impactful, user-friendly, and modern design standard. Our creative should be bold, relevant, and cut through the noise in today’s world of content and creative inundation.   

What we expect of you, day to day.

• Learn and internalize Visa's business, products, and payment ecosystems
• Engage with senior stakeholders, capture requirements, design flows and wireframes
• Manage and participate in production of new and existing content, supporting on-brand guides and templates where needed
• Exercise independent judgment with minimal direction from supervisor
• Document, organize and manage Figma asset libraries
• Sample asset types: Presentation materials (PowerPoint, Keynote, Figma), CX flows, infographics, animation/motion graphics/video storyboards, interactive demos
• Visual and narrative design through creative storytelling
• Communicate complex product and technical topics in an easy-to-understand visual way 
• Work and collaborate closely with in-house design teams and external partners
• Design content with users and humans at the forefront
• Outstanding art direction skills and design experience across a variety of media including digital, events, video. Clean, modern design that presents well in the Fintech world. 
• Expert understanding of designing for animation/motion graphics/video
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior staff

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

What we're after...

• Education: Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Visual Communications, Fine Arts, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
• 7+ years of professional design experience, with a focus
• on product marketing and sales enablement.
• •Tools and Software: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator,
• InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro), Sketch, Figma, and other relevant design
• tools. Experience with motion graphics software is a plus.
• Design Skills: Strong skills in print, digital, static, and motion design. Expertise in visual storytelling, infographics, animation, video production, and motion graphics.
• Industry Knowledge: Optional experience in the Fintech industry or a related field, with an understanding of Fintech design aesthetics.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to explain complex product and technical topics visually. Comfortable presenting to large groups.
• Creativity and Innovation: Proven ability to challenge the status quo and develop modern, user-friendly design standards.
• Branding and Guidelines: Ability to extend visual systems and brand guideline across all mediums.
• Experience in creating on-brand guides and templates.
• Animation: Knowledge of animation best practices and ability to contribute to motion standards within a design system.
