- Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (with potential for long-term and permanent placements)
We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team in the Tower Hamlets area. This role offers a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity for temporary assignments with potential for long-term and permanent placements. Ideal candidates will have a passion for education and a commitment to supporting the learning and development of students.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of daily lessons.
- Support individual students or small groups to help them understand the material and complete their tasks.
- Work closely with teachers to monitor students’ progress and handle any issues that arise.
- Implement strategies to support students with special educational needs, under the guidance of the teacher.
- Help manage classroom resources and setup for activities.
- Ensure a safe and tidy classroom environment.
- Participate in school meetings and training sessions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational role.
- Strong understanding of classroom activities and teaching strategies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A proactive and compassionate approach to student learning and well-being.
