Rota Nanny
Our clients, a lovely family with a residence in Central London, are seeking an experienced Rota Nanny for their 4 children aged 10, 8, 6 and 1.5 years old.
The family are looking for someone who is patient, fun, and energetic. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for working with children, be a natural problem-solver, have a love for adventures, and strive to provide a warm, loving and structured environment for the children whilst setting clear and consistent expectations.
The role involves frequent travel and it is essential to ensure the children’s safety at all times whilst complying with COVID regulations. The family’s goal is to find someone who can help them provide a healthy, happy, and safe home for their children.
Responsibilities :
- All general nursery duties such as feeding, dressing, and bathing the children
- Change diapers and assist with potty training
- Create daily schedules of the children’s activities
- Organise and engage in creative, educational activities
- Ensure plenty of outdoor play
- Stick to the children’s nap and bedtime routines
- Carry out school runs, attend extracurricular activities, and arrange play dates
- Support the parents during local visits to friends’ homes, restaurants, events and other family activities
- Prepare children’s meals according to their specific needs and tastes
- Assist with homework
- Cleaning and tidying up the children’s spaces
- Teaching the children manners, respectfulness, and how to help with chores
- Track the children’s growth and social development, and guide the parents to help them maximise the children’s development
- Communicate children’s behaviours to parents and agree on consistent discipline based on the parents’ choices
- Travel with the family as needed
To be considered for this role you must:
- Hold a valid first aid qualification
- Hold a valid DBS
- Be happy to travel regularly
- Be happy to undertake an in-depth background check
Location : Central London
Contract Length : Permanent
Start Date : ASAP
Children : 10, 8, 6 and 1.5 years old
Working Days : Rota (the family are flexible on whether the role is 1 week on / 1 week off or 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off)
Salary : Circa £55,000-£65,000 gross per annum (depending on experience)
