About the Role

The organization is expanding its Service, Maintenance & Repair (SMR) division, dedicated to delivering planned, structured repairs and servicing directly to our members. This role is distinct from traditional roadside assistance, focusing on scheduled jobs without emergency callouts or unpredictable shifts.

What You'll Do

Your day will begin with a clear digital schedule of pre-booked jobs. You will be responsible for:

• Routine servicing
• Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment
• In-depth repairs typically done in a workshop
• Providing member advice and recommendations based on inspections
• Conducting vehicle safety checks aligned with our standards

With a fully equipped van, fuel card, uniform, and tools, you’ll have everything you need to perform quality work efficiently.

What You’ll Need

• Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Working Conditions

• Competitive base salary of £45,378 (inclusive of London Weighting Allowance, if applicable), with on-target earnings of up to £57,000
• Guaranteed overtime option to increase your base salary, plus additional overtime and bonus opportunities
• 40 hours per week, with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, and 1 in 4 Saturdays
