Head of Commercial Finance

The Head of Commercial Finance Director will be the key finance business partner to the leadership, finance and regional sales teams and will play a critical role in supporting the strategic and commercial objectives of the Group.

What you'll do:

This role will be expected to provide strong business partnering and lead a commercial finance agenda that is supports the Groups strategy and challenges the delivery of sales and commercial performance. They will lead the FP&A function across all channels in their regions, both forecasting future goals and providing analysis to support the achievement of those goals. They will offer in depth commercial support to the sales, finance and leadership teams and deliver recommendations to the business based on observable data and trends. They will be focussed on accurate, evidence based forecasting anchored in commercial assumptions aligned to the Group’s strategy, with wider responsibilities for commercial review and investment appraisal.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the annual budget for the UK and ROW and three-year strategic plan, identifying areas for growth and efficiency, assisting in delivery of Revolution Beauty’s long-term strategic vision and goals.

• Actively drive the business by providing key insight and identifying emerging trends.

• Own the delivery of financial assessment of key business activities and new business opportunities including market launches, new customers, stands expenditure and new products (in conjunction with the Sales/Commercial function).

• Own the budgeting and forecasting processes for the Group to accurately predict performance based on trends and drivers.

• Work closely with the Group Finance Director and CFO to appropriately update investors with accurate P&L and Cashflow forecasts.

• Provide a link between the financial leadership of the company and the sales and commercial teams.

• Identify issues impacting delivery of the forecast, across all aspects of the P&L

• Work alongside the Group Commercial Directors in commercial negotiation whether that be for contract renewal, new doors or customer terms.

What you'll have:

• Qualified accountant (ACMA, ACCA, ACA)

• Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills

• Demonstrable ability to challenge effectively and drive a business for performance

• Experience of working in a commercial finance function of a company of scale

• Strong modelling ability

• Experience of the beauty industry and a strong understanding of business drivers
