About the Role
The Site Assistant will support the Site Manager in maintaining a safe, secure, and well-presented learning environment for students and staff.
Key responsibilities include:
• Assisting with routine maintenance and minor repairs
• Supporting health and safety compliance checks
• Opening and closing the school site as required
• Preparing rooms for lessons, events, and examinations
• Monitoring security systems and site access
• Reporting maintenance issues and liaising with contractors
Candidate Requirements
• Previous experience in maintenance, caretaking, or facilities work
• Basic DIY skills and practical knowledge
• Understanding of health and safety regulations
• Organised, reliable, and proactive
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience within a school or academy setting is desirable but not essential.
