About The Role:
We are seeking a highly capable and commercially astute Finance Manager to play a central role in protecting the financial integrity of the business while driving insight across our multichannel luxury retail operations.
This is a broad and influential role combining financial control, performance analysis, systems leadership and cross-functional partnership. You will ensure the highest standards of accuracy across the finance function, lead robust reporting and forecasting processes, and act as a trusted partner to stakeholders across stores, concessions, e-commerce and wholesale.
The role requires both precision and perspective. Someone who can ensure every detail is exact while understanding the wider commercial narrative of a growing luxury brand.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Financial Governance & Control
Oversee and review the work of the accounting team, ensuring accuracy, integrity and timely delivery of month-end and year-end close.
Lead comprehensive balance sheet reviews, ensuring reconciliations are robust and risks are proactively identified and managed.
Maintain and continuously enhance financial controls in line with a scaling retail environment.
Act as superuser of Sage Intacct and interfaced retail systems, safeguarding data integrity and optimising financial processes and reporting structures.
Support audit processes and statutory reporting requirements.
Reporting & Commercial Insight
Deliver high-quality monthly management accounts with clear, concise and commercially meaningful commentary.
Lead detailed actual vs. budget variance analysis, translating performance into actionable insight.
Prepare reporting packs for senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Analyse trading performance across all channels – stores, concessions, e-commerce and wholesale – identifying trends, risks and opportunities.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning
Coordinate and support the annual budgeting process across the business.
Build and maintain rolling forecasts for review with the Head of Finance and Finance Director.
Develop forward-looking financial models and scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Partner with department heads to challenge assumptions and align financial plans with operational objectives.
Commercial Partnership & Inventory Oversight
Work closely with Merchandising and Operations to ensure stock accuracy, margin integrity and appropriate inventory controls.
Oversee financial reporting relating to inventory across a multichannel retail model.
Provide analysis to improve stock management, working capital efficiency and profitability.
Act as a finance business partner across departments, combining rigour with collaboration.
Strategic & Ad Hoc Support
Lead ad-hoc analysis and strategic projects as directed by the Finance Director.
Contribute to systems optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support business growth initiatives and operational developments.
What We’re Looking For:

Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA).
Strong financial control background with experience reviewing and supervising accounting processes.
E xperienced within a multichannel retail business (luxury sector experience desirable).
Deep understanding of stock accounting, margin analysis and inventory controls.
Sage Intacct experience highly preferred, with confidence acting as system superuser across finance and interfaced retail systems.
Advanced Excel skills and strong financial modelling capability.
Proven experience leading budgeting and forecasting cycles.
Commercially astute with the ability to translate financial data into strategic insight.
Strong communication skills and confidence engaging senior stakeholders.
Detail-driven with exceptionally high standards.
Analytical, commercially curious and solutions-oriented.
Calm, credible and confident in a dynamic growth environment.
Collaborative, with the ability to influence across functions.
