Social Marketing EU Specialist
What does a Social Marketing Specialist do at One Retail Group?
There is rarely a typical day. Given our rapid expansion there are constantly new challenges to overcome.
You will be working closely with a diverse, enthusiastic and talented group of people as part of our growing Marketing Team. The role will focus on expanding the initial financial success of our Influencer Marketing and Paid Social channels in the EU.
Our ideal candidate would be someone who...
- Highly motivated, self-starter with a good interest in social media.
- A strong commercial mind that sees how social marketing can be used to increase ecommerce trade.
- Strong knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube and TikTok (including TikTok Shop).
- Experience working with Meta Ads and TikTok Ads.
- Experience working on campaigns targeted at the EU.
- Strong language skills and fluent in at least one of French, Spanish, German or Italian.
- Highly organised with good time management skills as the role requires managing a large variety of tasks.
- Some experience in managing/mentoring people, or the attributes and desire to become a good manager.
- Experience in creating video content is a plus, but not essential.
- The desire to thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Responsibilities
- Working with our Head of Marketing and the rest of the Social Marketing Team to build and shape marketing strategies for the Social and Influencer Marketing Channels in the EU.
- Managing a team of freelancers across the EU markets, who will help to source influencers and social content for their markets.
- Identifying optimisations and growth opportunities across social channels, using the current reporting setup to increase our return on investment.
- Working to improve and expand the current social marketing strategy in the EU across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok, with the focus on increased engagement, sales and profit.
- Expanding our influencer marketing strategy in the EU with a focus on growing brand awareness, driving sales and increasing profitability.
- Improving how we report and provide insights across the social marketing channels.
- Understanding our online communities and helping develop strategies of how to best reach them and convert them into customers.
- Working with our marketing team on the wider omni-channel strategy and hitting trade forecasts.
- Keeping up to date with the latest marketing news & upcoming changes that will impact our strategies & performance.
