We’re already trusted by leading brands around the world, but the real-time revolution is only just beginning. Having raised $83.5m, we’re accelerating our mission of delivering real-time payments, everywhere. And that’s where you come in.

We need world-class talent to create a world where consumers pay, and businesses get paid, instantly. With headquarters in London and offices in Berlin, Kraków and Warsaw – and an all-star team already in place – we’re sure you’ll fit right in.

About the role:

As an Account Manager at Volt, you’ll be the go-to person for some of our key merchant partners. You’ll build strong, proactive relationships to support mutual growth, and help merchants maximise the value of our platform as it evolves.

You’ll act as a commercial partner and product advisor, translating payments innovation into real-world impact for your portfolio. Working closely with teams across product, legal, compliance, and sales, you’ll also deepen your understanding of the Open Banking ecosystem and the powerful role Volt plays in it.

This is a dynamic, collaborative role ideal for someone who enjoys variety, ownership, and driving outcomes in a fast-moving fintech environment.

What the role involves:

  • Merchant Relationship Management Owning the day-to-day relationship with your merchants, acting as their main point of contact and trusted advisor.
  • Commercial Growth & Support Proactively helping merchants unlock the value of Volt’s expanding product suite. Identify opportunities for deeper integration and usage.
  • Industry Insight & Guidance Staying on top of international payments trends, regulatory developments, and market shifts to bring informed recommendations to clients.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration Working closely with Volt’s global teams - including tech, legal, compliance, and finance - to connect client needs with Volt’s product roadmap and capabilities.
  • Portfolio Engagement Leading and coordinating merchant QBRs (virtual or in-person), supported by data insights, conversion performance, and tailored recommendations.
  • Project & Campaign Support Supporting internal and external initiatives that improve merchant experience, adoption, and satisfaction.

Requirements

About you

  • You’re a proactive and curious learner who thrives in ownership-driven environments.
  • You have 2–5 years of experience in account management, customer success, or partnership roles within the Open Banking, payments, fintech, or SaaS space.
  • A solid understanding of account-to-account (A2A) payments is a strong advantage.
  • Strong communicator with excellent relationship-building skills across functions and levels.
  • Confident, commercially aware, and able to spot and act on growth opportunities.
  • Comfortable working independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced, multicultural team.
  • You bring positivity, energy, and contribute to a collaborative, inclusive culture.
