Wayman Education is recruiting a dedicated Nursery Practitioner for a busy early years provision in Enfield. The successful Nursery Practitioner will support Reception and Nursery teams, lead focused small-group activities, record learning journeys and help manage indoor and outdoor environments. The Nursery Practitioner will also liaise with families, contribute to safeguarding procedures and support children with additional needs. The appointed Nursery Practitioner will be expected to start January 2026, take part in induction from January 2026, and contribute to planning across Enfield.

Contract – Permanent / Term-time (flexible options considered)
The Role
As Nursery Practitioner, you will: deliver play-based sessions to develop communication and physical skills; maintain accurate observations and planning notes; support transitions into school; and assist with parent liaison. The Nursery Practitioner will work closely with the teacher and SENDCo to ensure consistent, evidence-led practice. The role is based in Enfield and will involve partnership working with local families and services in Enfield.

Person specification for the Nursery Practitioner:
• Experience working as a Nursery Practitioner with good knowledge of early development and observation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for the Nursery Practitioner.
• Able to start January 2026 in Enfield.
