A lovely family based in Hendon, London, is seeking an experienced Afterschool Nanny to care for their two children, aged 2.5 and 5 years old.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of childcare experience and will speak fluent English and Mandarin. The family is looking for someone warm, reliable, organised, and confident supporting young children's daily routines and development. Someone who enjoys planning engaging activities and preparing healthy Chinese meals for the children would be well suited to this role.

The nanny will be responsible for school pick-ups and drop-offs, ensuring the children's safety and well-being, supporting their educational development, and creating a fun, nurturing environment. The role also includes preparing nutritious Chinese meals and snacks and keeping the children's bedrooms and play areas clean and organised. There are no pets, and a driver is not required.

A valid first aid certification is required for this role.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 12:30 pm to 6:00 pm, for a total of 30 hours per week. The family would appreciate flexibility to stay later once or twice a week if required.

Duties include:

• caring for two children aged 2.5 and 5 years old
• managing school pick-ups and drop-offs
• ensuring the children's safety, well-being, and development
• establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines
• engaging the children in interactive play and educational activities
• arranging outdoor outings, such as visits to the park
• encouraging early literacy by reading books
• providing homework assistance and supporting the children's educational growth
• preparing and serving nutritious Chinese meals and snacks for the children
• keeping the children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
• creating a safe, happy, and nurturing environment

The family is looking for someone who can start on 24th August 2026.
