Technical Interior Designer, Autocad
Job Description
The Studio
This London-based interior architecture studio delivers design-led workplace, commercial, and commercial-residential environments. Known for creating experiential spaces with a strong hospitality influence, their work combines thoughtful spatial planning, rich material palettes, and bespoke detailing.
The team is collaborative and design-driven, creating interiors that reflect a client’s brand, culture, and identity. With several larger schemes underway, the studio is looking to strengthen technical delivery across Stage 4 and Stage 5 packages. It’s important to the team that people enjoy being present in the studio and working closely alongside colleagues.
The Opportunity
This role would suit an Interior Designer with a strong technical edge who enjoys getting into the detail of how spaces are delivered. You will support the technical development of projects, primarily across Stage 4 and Stage 5.
Working closely with the design team, you will produce detailed AutoCAD drawing packages, resolve technical details, and coordinate with consultants and contractors to ensure information is accurate and construction-ready. A particular interest in bespoke joinery and well-crafted interior detailing would be highly valued.
The Candidate
• Strong AutoCAD skills and technical drawing ability
• Experience producing Stage 4 and Stage 5 drawing packages
• Background in commercial, workplace, or commercial-residential interiors
• Experience detailing bespoke joinery and interior elements
• A passion for joinery detailing and well-crafted interiors
• Contractor or site experience would be advantageous
• Detail-focused and collaborative, with a preference for working in-studio
