Physical Education Teacher

A dynamic and inspiring Physical Education Teacher is required for a permanent full-time position at an Outstanding boys' school in Camden, commencing in September. Responsibilities

• You will plan and deliver engaging PE lessons, covering a wide range of sports and physical activities, promoting skill development, teamwork, and healthy competition.
• The role involves fostering students' physical literacy, sportsmanship, and an understanding of the benefits of a healthy lifestyle.
• You will lead extra-curricular sports clubs and contribute to the school's successful sporting programme.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Physical Education is essential.
• Experience teaching engaging and effective PE lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 is highly desirable.
• A strong understanding of various sports and physical activities, coaching abilities, and the ability to inspire boys to participate, are expected.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, alongside strong classroom and pitch-side management, are vital.
