Executive Assistant (EA) to CTO

LEGO Digital Play
London

LEGO Digital Play (LDP) will bring the LEGO brand into digital entertainment in new, innovative, and wholly-owned ways. Our mission is to ensure the LEGO Brand remains as powerfully a part of children’s lives in the next 20 years as it has been for the past 60.

We are in the earliest stages of building this new company, offering a unique opportunity to help shape a fast-moving, high-impact organisation backed by one of the world’s most trusted brands.

This is a hands-on, start-up environment , where pace, ownership, and adaptability are critical.

The Role

We are looking for an Executive Assistant to act as a trusted partner to LDP's Chief Technology Officer, enabling them to operate effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

This is not a traditional EA role focused purely on administration. You will play a key role in driving prioritisation, creating structure, and enabling decision-making in a highly dynamic setting.

Core Responsibilities

Strategic Calendar & Priority Management

  • Own and actively manage complex calendars with a focus on prioritisation and impact

  • Make independent judgement calls on scheduling, trade-offs, and time allocation

  • Ensure leadership time is aligned to key business priorities

  • Confidently push back and challenge where needed to protect focus and effectiveness

Executive Support & Coordination

  • Manage inboxes and communications where required

  • Coordinate internal and external meetings across a wide range of stakeholders

  • Prepare agendas, pre-reads, and briefing materials

  • Track follow-ups and ensure actions are progressed

Project & Operational Support

  • Support planning and execution of key initiatives (e.g. industry events, leadership offsites, cross-functional projects)

  • Lead logistics, stakeholder coordination, and communication for executive priorities

  • Help create structure in ambiguous situations and ensure progress is maintained

Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong relationships across LDP, the LEGO Group, and external partners

  • Act as a central point of coordination across teams and functions

  • Facilitate effective communication and information flow

Business & Communication Support

  • Assist in preparing executive communications (presentations, briefings, talking points)

  • Support board and leadership interactions as needed

  • Synthesise information to support clear, timely decision-making

Operational Excellence

  • Identify and implement improvements to workflows, communication rhythms, and processes

  • Help establish effective ways of working in a growing organisation

Requirements for the role

  • Significant experience supporting senior executives in fast-paced, complex environments

  • Experience in the gaming industry is highly desirable

  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and make sound judgement calls independently

  • Confidence to challenge, push back, and influence senior stakeholders

  • Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills and high emotional intelligence

  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, evolving, and less structured environments

  • High level of discretion and professionalism

  • Ability to be in LDP London office 2-3 days a week
