Children: Boys aged 2.5 years and 4 years.
Salary: up to £65,000 Gross per annum
Contract length: Permanent
Working Days & hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am-6:30pm

This warm, busy family seeking a highly educational and proactive Nanny who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development. The focus of the role is to create a structured, nurturing and stimulating environment that encourages the boys (2.5 & 4) to thrive as they grow. The nanny will play a key role in supporting early learning, reading and writing skills, positive behaviour, and age-appropriate milestones, while maintaining clear routines and boundaries.
Working closely with mum, the nanny will take initiative in planning activities, outings and after-school commitments that align with the children’s interests, creativity and active nature. This role suits someone who enjoys being hands-on, values learning through play, and can adapt activities as the children transition from nursery into school. The ideal candidate will become a trusted partner in the children’s development, supporting their curiosity, confidence and love of learning in a positive and engaging way.

•Nursery and school drop-off and pick-up (5-minute walk from the home). Boys attend mornings.
•Manage the children’s morning routine, including getting them ready, preparing snacks and lunches, and organising school bags.
•Encourage learning and development through age-appropriate educational activities, reading support, arts and crafts, and positive behaviour guidance.
•Plan and supervise a variety of outings, classes, after-school activities and sports to keep the children active and engaged.
•Take full responsibility for child-related housekeeping, including laundry, wardrobe organisation, toy rotation, and sourcing educational materials and creative resources.
•Coordinate child-related scheduling and logistics, including playdates, clubs and activities, while collaborating with mum and independently suggesting new ideas.
•Prepare nutritious, varied meals for the children and family roughly twice per week.
•Maintain clear boundaries and consistency around routines, structure and manners.
•Provide light household support such as running errands and unpacking weekly grocery deliveries. Candidate specification:
•Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with a strong focus on education and child development.
•Proven long-term experience caring for toddlers and school-aged children, whilst supporting multiple children.
•Background in teaching or a nursery/early years setting is desirable.
•Strong knowledge of learning and development, including supporting milestones through educational toys, games, reading, writing, homework assistance and positive behaviour guidance.
•Collaborative and supportive approach, working closely as a team with mum and contributing positively to the household.
•Active, energetic and highly proactive, with the ability to take initiative and adapt activities to the children’s changing ages and interests Current Nanny is leaving on excellent terms to return home to get married. Enhanced DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
