Residential Nanny – Private Family
Location: Chelsea, London + International Travel
Start Date: ASAP (no later than October 2026)
Salary: "65 - £75,000 gross per annum doe

A warm and welcoming private family are seeking an experienced, energetic, and flexible Residential Nanny to join their household. The role involves caring for two young boys (born January 2023 and November 2024), with a new baby due in October 2026 (maternity nurse for 6/7 mths)

This is a shared-care position alongside the mother and an additional nanny. The family are hands-on and value a calm, positive, and professional approach. They are looking for someone with strong experience caring for babies and toddlers, who can support routines, development, and day-to-day care with confidence.

Role Details:

5 days per week, 12-hour days (starting at 7:00/7:30am)
Flexibility required for evening cover (paid as overtime)
Occasional sole charge and proxy parenting when required
Working in a rolling rotation with a second nanny to ensure 7-day coverage

Travel & Accommodation:

The family splits their time between London, Ireland, and Barbados, travelling frequently throughout the year (including extended stays in Barbados from November to March/April).

Private bedroom and bathroom provided in Barbados on a sep floor from children, in London - a bedroom/bathroom in sep acc two mins from client's residence.
Separate nanny accommodation in Ireland (two nannies share a flat with own bedroom/bathroom)
Option to remain in residence or travel independently on days off

Duties:

All nursery duties, including children’s laundry and maintaining tidy play/bedroom areas
Preparing fresh, nutritious meals for the children
Supporting routines, activities, and development

The household is fully staffed, including housekeepers and a chef (in Barbados).

Requirements:

Proven experience with babies and young children
Fluent English speaker
Confident swimmer
Driver (essential)
Flexible, organised, and comfortable with international travel

The family have a friendly Labrador based at their Ireland home.
